Summary

Introduced with the AusLink (National Land Transport—Consequential and Transitional Provisions) Bill 2004, the bill establishes a new framework for federal funding of land transport infrastructure. Also extends the Roads to Recovery Program for a further 4-year period from 1 July 2005.

We acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of country throughout Australia and acknowledge their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the elders past, present and emerging.
